Family Medicine Physician - Build a Primary Care Practice

Family Medicine Olathe AdventHealth Kansas City AdventHealth Medical Group, a leading faith-based, not-for-profit health system, is excited to open a new primary care practice in Olathe, KS, as part of our continued expansion in the Kansas City metro area. We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our team in delivering whole-person care in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a new practice from the ground up in one of the fastest-growing communities in Johnson County. You will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care while being supported by the resources of AdventHealth Shawnee Mission and the broader AHMG network. About Our Opportunity The group will consist of 8 providers, a combination of physicians and APPs. EMR – Epic Schedule – Full Time Days Call rotation Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventive care, acute illness management, and chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, heart disease). Perform in-office procedures as appropriate for primary care. Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nursing staff, and specialists within the AdventHealth system to deliver coordinated, whole-person care. Utilize Epic electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation and patient management. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and value-based care models. Emphasize compassionate, faith-based care that addresses patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Requirements Board Certification or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Current, valid Kansas medical license Current, valid DEA license Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach. Employment Details Guaranteed initial base salary with a wRVU production component.
