As a Test & Validation Engineer in this team you will serve as an individual contributor on projects and assignments that support and enhance product performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain multiple seal validation test benchesAuthor and update safe job & lock out tag out procedures for seal test equipmentManage internal/external validation test requests and support quality/material/design improvement projectsPerform/Apply root cause analysis on field returnsSupport NPI (New Product Introduction) and CPI (Current Product Improvement) projectsCollaborate with system engineering teams, internal and external, to identify/validate optimum sealing system solutionsCreate and deliver technical reportsResearch and develop new sealing technologiesEducation & ExperienceBS Mechanical Engineer, Aerospace, Agricultural; 2nd preferred metallurgical, advanced physicsYears of experience: 0 -2 yearsRequired Technical SkillsProficiency in Creo or related CAD softwareDesired SkillsPrevious test/validation experienceExperience with data analysis softwareExperience with instrumentation/controller softwareWorking experience with metallic and non-metallic materials or componentsWe are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and global team.
