Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a SME Systems Engineer in Herndon, Virginia.\n\nQualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nThis position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree and at least 16 years of overall IT experience.\nAbility to install and configure vCenter server\nExperience with ESXi cluster servers\nStrong technical knowledge of VMWare products: vSphere, vCenter, &/or Aria Suite\nExperience implementing NSX, SRM &/or vSAN in DR or failover operational environments\n3+ years experience in infrastructure architecture and design complex distributed systems environments, including failover techniques, recovery/rollback, and application partitioning.\nExperience monitoring the health of VMs operating in various data centers\nUnderstanding of network & storage architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP)\nExperience virtualizing enterprise applications\nExperience with AWS\nExperience with VMWare 7\nStrong networking expertise\nExperience with cloud migration\nExperience with (automation/operations) integration across IT infrastructure\n\nWhat you can expect from us:\nThe expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $190,000 - 220,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
