weekends and holidays.\r\nResponsibilities Responsible for the organization of the storage area for spare parts and services inventory.\r\nResponsible for proper labelling (bar coding) and categorizing of all spare parts.\r\nResponsible for cycle counts and physical inventories weekly according to audit schedule and update inventory in KSoft.\r\nResponsible for the creation of new item numbers, and adjust descriptions when needed.\r\nAssist finance by receiving all applicable inventory, consignments and services; accrue for all un-received goods/services at month end.\r\nResponsible for the elimination of excess inventory that is obsolete.\r\nReceive material into the system (KSoft) and stocking the spare part items into their proper/most efficient location.\r\nPhysically receive all parts delivered.\r\nObtain shipping document and verify all parts delivered against PO ordered parts for accuracy.\r\nAccurately enter receipts into KSoft, with scans of delivery documents (Docuware).\r\nAccurately tag/stock inventory items.\r\nNotify the EE that ordered, of requisitioned capital project or work order parts on arrival.\r\nKeep hard copy files of all receiving documents.\r\nReceive services and capital expense invoices from finance (KSoft/Docuware/hardcopy).\r\nResponsible for the control process on which items are taken out of the storeroom especially consumables/manage inventory of vending machines.\r\nIssue and retain files on all issued inventory in KSoft for all employees.\r\nDevelop demands for ordering of miscellaneous parts when needed.\r\nWork with the Purchasing Manager and Buyer on predicting usage and stock accordingly for all special projects/downtime with consumable vendor.\r\nAssist Production, Maintenance and Contractors in locating parts within KSoft and storeroom.\r\nOutside repairs of inventory, tools, radios, micrometres etc.\r\nAssist with the creation of demands for repairs, packing slip for vendors and pickup request.\r\nAssist with inside repairs when applicable.\r\nCreate repair article, return item to KSoft, tag and stock.\r\nMaintain the cleanliness of all inventory areas\r\nOperate multiple sizes of fork trucks depending on job.\r\nUnload vans, flatbeds and containers in a timely and quality-minded manner as necessary.\r\nRequirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\r\nAbility to handle multiple priorities, stress, provide detailed work, sound reasoning, and meet required deadlines\r\nThe ability to be flexible in duties, analytical and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills\r\nThe ability to be exceptionally self-motivated and directed, organized, and a keen attention to detail\r\nThe ability to work consistently on a concrete plant production floor and in multiple (hot, cold, dirty, etc.) environmental conditions\r\nGood vision with or without corrective lenses\r\nThe ability to be available for on-call and periodic overtime\r\nThe ability to frequently bend, lift (minimum 50 lbs unassisted), sit or stand for extended periods of time, kneel and move for extended periods of time\r\nThe ability to have dexterity of hands and fingers to utilize appropriate equipment and tools\r\nPreferred Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred\r\nPrevious experience operating a Fork Truck preferred.\r\nPHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Activities and Safety Equipment Sitting, climbing, lifting, push/pulling, dust mask, hard hat and high visibility vest required up to 1/3 of time.\r\nWalking, reaching and bending frequently required 1/3 to ½ of time.\r\nSeeing, hearing, standing, dexterity, written and verbal communication, ear plugs, safety glasses and safety footwear continuously
