Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring a Machine Operator in Salinas, CA.\n\nDetails for the Machine Operator position:\n\n$20-$20 / Hour\nFull-Time | Temp-to-Hire\nZero Fees - you’ll never be charged for any screening service\n2nd shift\nWeekly Pay\nAdvancement opportunities!\n\nJob Duties for Machine Operator:\nMust inspect settings for codes, dates, leaks, oxygen levels, and seals to ensure proper operation of the assigned equipment\nCompletes all required safety, Food safety, production, maintenance, etc. documentation as required these forms which include, but are not limited to: packaging machine forms, quality forms, packaging downtime forms, forming tube inspection and Teflon tape related forms\nReport any equipment malfunction to the PMO, floor coordinator or supervisor immediately\nExecutes necessary setups and/or changeovers in equipment, film, printers, and related ancillary processes while ensuring production expectations are met\nAssure that all date coding and bag labeling is correct, i.e., packages, boxes, etc.\nAlways keep work area and equipment clean and free of garbage/debris\nAble to assist in different lines or baggers, and work as directed and as a team\nWorks cooperatively with process owners to maintain quality standards\nAssures quality products are being produced by meeting quality specifications for production on assigned line(s)\nUse a variety of means for measurement such as equipment setting confirmation along with probes, tanks, and meters to monitor such things as bag atmospheres, leaker rates, weights, etc.\n\nQualifications and Desired Skills for Machine Operator:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nRegular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position\nAbility to work in cold and wet environments (33-35 degrees Fahrenheit)\nMust be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools provided to perform job duties\nAbility to stand for duration of shift\nAbility to lift 75 lbs.
