Clinical supervisor will conduct individual supervision for assigned staff, review documentation for non-independently licensed staff, provide coaching and guidance on implementing effective interventions, support community service workers with potential crisis or staffing needs, coordinate with other supervisors in facilitating clinical group supervision, and participate in quality improvement and operational meetings.Core Competencies:Knowledge of various modes of psychotherapy and evidence-based practices, especially crisis intervention and short-term models using individual, group, and familial approaches.Skill in assessment procedures, diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic treatment, and case management practices including follow-up and closure.Ability to establish therapeutic alliance with clients and their families.Ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team and with the public.Assesses and incorporates culture into assessment and treatment processesAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingActively seek feedback and supervision, and engage in personal reflection and self-correctionAcknowledges impact of own feelings and cultural values on practiceKnowledge of ethical principles and state lawsKnowledge of and adheres to state reporting and regulatory guidelinesMaintains appropriate boundaries with patients and staffAssesses for trauma and engages in trauma informed practicesFormulates realistic, patient centered treatment goals and evaluate progress toward goalsKnowledge of developmental needs of population servedKnowledge of methods of clinical supervisionKnowledge of program regulations, established agency policy and procedure, and applicable government or program contracts.
