Verifies the quantity and quality of material received and receive into Radius.\nStacks or assembles materials on pallets.\nPlace incoming materials in storage racks.\nPull materials from storage and deliver to production departments as needed.\nReturn unused film to inventory.\nComplete all required paperwork.\nMaintain departmental housekeeping standards.\nAdhere to the GMP Policy.\nQualification Requirements:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n3 to 12 months of related experience in manufacturing or forklift operation preferred.\nLanguage Skills:\nAbility to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to write and computer generate various reports and business correspondence as requested. Ability to speak clearly using a telephone and effectively present information and respond to questions from visitors, customers, and vendors. Must be able to communicate effectively and fluently and possess a courteous, friendly, and professional speaking manner.\nMathematical Skills:\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.\nReasoning Ability:\nAbility to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:\nRequires the ability to obtain a forklift operator's license.\nOther Skills and Abilities:\nRequires the ability to operate various equipment including a forklift, hand trucks, banding tools, shrink wrap machine, battery charger, and a variety of office machines such as copier, FAX, and calculator.\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls, reach above shoulders, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and use foot/feet to operate machine.\nThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nWork Environment:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
