This is an opportunity to join a growing organization where your leadership, business acumen, and passion for people will directly impact the success of our clients, team members, and company.Compensation$110,000 – $140,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus opportunity.Position SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for the operational performance, client satisfaction, financial results, and team development of a portfolio of parking operations throughout the San Francisco market.This role requires a highly motivated and hands-on leader who can successfully balance operational execution, client relationship management, financial accountability, and talent development. The General Manager will serve as a strategic partner to clients while coaching and developing Project Managers and operational leaders to ensure consistent service delivery and long-term growth.The ideal candidate possesses strong experience within commercial real estate environments, including Class A office buildings, mixed-use developments, medical office buildings, and self-park operations. Success in this role requires strong business-to-business relationship management skills and the ability to engage confidently with property owners, asset managers, and executive stakeholders.ScheduleThis is a full-time exempt position. Flexibility is required based on operational and client needs. Regular travel throughout the San Francisco Bay Area portfolio is expected.ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipProvide leadership, guidance, support, and accountability to Project Managers, Managers, and Supervisors across assigned accounts.Oversee daily parking operations and ensure service excellence across all locations.Drive operational consistency, process improvement, and execution of company standards throughout the portfolio.Support account transitions, onboarding efforts, and operational setup for new business acquisitions.Step into operational situations when necessary to support teams and ensure service continuity.Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, contractual obligations, and applicable laws and regulations.Financial ManagementOwn and manage portfolio P&L performance.Execute operational plans aligned with budget objectives and profitability targets.Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and revenue planning.Analyze operational and financial data from multiple systems to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Implement revenue control procedures and operational efficiencies to maximize account performance.Client Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.Develop and maintain strong relationships with property ownership groups, asset managers, and executive stakeholders.Lead client meetings, business reviews, and strategic planning discussions.Present operational performance metrics, financial results, and growth opportunities to clients.Resolve escalated service concerns with professionalism, urgency, and a solutions-oriented mindset.Consistently deliver exceptional customer and client experiences.Leadership DevelopmentRecruit, coach, mentor, and develop operational leaders and frontline team members.Build a strong leadership pipeline by identifying and developing high-potential talent.Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures across the portfolio.Foster a positive, people-first culture aligned with Parkwell's Vision, Mission, and Values.Partner with Human Resources to ensure proper staffing levels, succession planning, and employee development.Business Development & Strategic GrowthSupport business development efforts through site evaluations, proposals, client presentations, and account transitions.Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships.Collaborate with Executive Leadership on growth initiatives and strategic projects.Assist in researching market opportunities and maintaining awareness of industry trends.Lead special projects and operational initiatives that improve efficiency and client value.QualificationsRequiredValid California Driver's License.Successful completion of criminal and motor vehicle background checks.Minimum 5 years of operations leadership experience within parking, commercial real estate, hospitality, facilities management, or related service industries.Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing managers and multi-site operations.Demonstrated experience managing client relationships in a business-to-business environment.Experience working within Commercial Class A Office Properties.Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance.Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to travel regularly throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.PreferredParking industry leadership experience.Experience with medical office buildings, mixed-use developments, and self-park operations.Experience working with PARCS, LPR systems, parking technology platforms, and operational reporting tools.Experience leading account transitions, mobilizations, and portfolio growth initiatives.Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Real Estate, Operations Management, or related field.What Success Looks LikeHigh-performing, engaged teams across all locations.Strong client retention and satisfaction scores.Achievement of budget and profitability goals.Consistent operational excellence throughout the portfolio.Development and promotion of future leaders within the organization.Growth of client relationships and expansion opportunities.Positive contributions to Parkwell's culture and continued success.Why Join Parkwell?At Parkwell, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
