This role supports both development and production environments and is central to our migration and ongoing operations within GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure, and AWS. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency, system stability, and operational excellence.\nEssential Responsibilities\nCI/CD Pipeline Management\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to support automated build, test, and deployment workflows.\nIntegrate pipelines with Azure and AWS services to enable multi-cloud deployments.\nEnsure pipelines are reusable, templated, and well-documented to support team-wide adoption.\nSource Control & Collaboration\nManage GitHub repositories, enforce branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow), and oversee pull request workflows.\nPartner with development teams to migrate codebases from Azure DevOps to GitHub, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication.\nCloud Infrastructure Management\nProvision, configure, and manage cloud resources in Azure (VMs, AKS, App Services) and AWS (EC2, S3, EKS, IAM).\nImplement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.\nSupport hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, including VPN configuration and network security.\nAutomation, Monitoring & Reliability\nAutomate operational tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.\nMonitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance using Datadog and Azure Monitor.\nTroubleshoot deployment issues and production outages, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.\nSecurity & Compliance\nIntegrate security controls into CI/CD workflows following DevSecOps best practices.\nManage secrets and credentials securely across GitHub, Azure, and AWS environments.\nEnsure systems and processes comply with organizational and regulatory standards.\nContinuous Improvement\nEvaluate new tools and technologies to enhance DevOps practices and platform reliability.\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical discussions and process improvements.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nTechnical Skills\nStrong hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.\nProficiency with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including resource provisioning, networking, and security.\nExperience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.\nScripting proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash.\nFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, or EKS.\nExperience with monitoring and logging tools, including Datadog and Azure Monitor.\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security best practices.\nBonus / Preferred Skills (a plus, but not required)\nExperience with MySQL database management.\nFamiliarity with AWS services including CodeDeploy, Secrets Manager, Elastic Beanstalk, ElastiCache for Redis, SES, and S3.\nSoft Skills\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical mindset.\nAbility to work effectively in agile, cross-functional teams.\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related engineering role.\nRelevant Azure, AWS, or DevOps certifications are a plus.\nBenefits\nHow We Will Take Care of You\nRobust benefit package that includes medical, dental, and vision that start on date of hire.\nPaid Time Off, to include vacation, sick, holidays, and floating holidays.\n401(k) plan with employer match.\nCompany-funded “lifestyle account” upon date of hire for you to apply toward your physical and mental well-being (i.e., ski passes, retreats, gym memberships).\nTuition Reimbursement Program.\nVoluntary benefits, to include but not limited to Legal and Pet Discounts.\nEmployee Assistance Program (available at no cost to you).\nCompany-sponsored and funded “Culture Team” that focuses on the Physical, Mental, and Professional well-being of employees.\nCommunity Give-Back initiatives.\nCulture that focuses on employee development initiatives.\nJoin Us\nAt PrePass, our mission drives us.\nWe invest in relationships.
