Candidates work on a team with other planners and landscape architects. Planners work on wide range of projects within the state of Florida. .ResponsibilitiesLearn and apply knowledge of land development regulations governing planning in the State of FloridDemonstrate computer skills, including proficiency in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF and Outlook, GIS, AIDraft justification statements, prepare entitlement applicationMake deliveries of submittal items to local municipalitiesPresent projects to various municipalitiesWork alongside landscape architects and other site planners to develop plans conforming to land development regulationsEffectively work with team, governmental staff, clients, and private sector consultants to resolve site planning issuesExperience with GIS is a plusShould have AICP or working towards gaining certificationQualificationsA Bachelor’s or Master's Degree with a major in Planning is required and be AICP certifiedPosition is for full time, in personAbility to Relocate: Jupiter, FL: Relocate before starting work Pay range and Compensation packageSalary and benefits are commensurate with position and qualifications.
