This position focuses on integrating security at every stage of the development pipeline to support a key federal client.\n\nUS citizenship and a T3 Secret clearance is required. This role is in Washington, DC.\n\nCLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS\nThis position will require access to classified information, and a SECRET clearance is required at the time of hire. Applicants selected will be subjected to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within the government facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain secure and automated infrastructure.\nIntegrate security controls, such as automated vulnerability scanning, static and dynamic analysis, and security testing into the CI/CD process.\nAutomate and orchestrate security processes, including incident response and threat detection, using technologies like Splunk, Chef Automate, and others.\nEstablish and ensure compliance with security standards in collaboration with cross-functional teams\nDesign, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software applications supporting modernization of legacy systems.\nParticipate in Agile development sprints, contributing to planning, estimation, and daily stand-ups.\nCollaborate with QA engineers to ensure unit testing, integration testing, and validation of new releases.\nSupport cloud-based deployments using CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\nAssist in identifying and remediating software vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.\nContribute to technical documentation, including system design and operational procedures.\nWork under senior engineering guidance to ensure compliance with security and coding standards.\nParticipate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance code quality and maintainability.\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nHands-on experience implementing DevSecOps practices in CI/CD platforms, such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc.\nExperience with cybersecurity platforms, such as CrowdStrike, Zscaler, etc.\nDeep understanding of cloud security.\nImplement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including code scanning, vulnerability assessment, and threat modeling.\nProficiency in automation, monitoring, and security integration\nU.S. Citizenship required\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n5+ years experience in a full stack software engineering role. Ability to contribute front-end (React), Serverless Cloud Native (AWS, Azure), Data integrations and ETL pipeline development, and SQL\nProven experience working on large-scale system modernization or digital transformation efforts.\nExpertise in software architecture, system design, and modernization of legacy platforms.\nDeep technical knowledge of cloud-native development, microservices, and container orchestration.\nProficiency with API development, integration, and data exchange architectures.\nProficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools.\n\nCandidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working with licensing, enforcement, or compliance systems in a national security or regulatory context.\nExperience in data modeling, system integration planning, or enterprise architecture alignment.\nPalantir Foundry experience\n\nTeleworking: The company has a hybrid remote policy for all employees and is dependent upon the type of position.
