Location:Fall River, MA Schedule:Part-time, Open availability Job Description: The Keyholder 2 is a trusted, non-managerial leader who plays a critical role in daily store operations. This position is regularly scheduled to open and/or close the store each week, sets shift coverage when assigned, and serves as a leadership presence on the sales floor. When not opening or closing, the Keyholder 2 performs full budtender duties while supporting team execution and customer experience. This role carries elevated responsibility and accountability without formal managerial authority. Key Responsibilities: Opening & Closing Operations Execute opening and closing procedures in strict accordance with company security protocolsManage alarm systems, access controls, and secure entry/exit proceduresConduct cash handling responsibilities including till counts, safe drops, deposit preparation, and required documentationEnsure registers, safes, and sensitive materials are secured at all timesStore Presentation & Visual StandardsMaintain a store environment that is consistently Grand-Opening readyExecute daily floor replenishment, merchandising resets, markdowns, and fixture standardsEnsure compliance with company visual merchandising and brand guidelinesCustomer Service LeadershipDeliver best-in-class guest experiences through knowledgeable, compliant cannabis serviceResolve customer questions, concerns, and escalations with professionalism and empathyServe as the point person during high-volume periods when management is unavailableStaff Support & MentorshipProvide guidance and direction to budtenders during shiftsAssist in onboarding, training reinforcement, and peer mentoringDelegate tasks and manage floor flow during assigned leadership shiftsOperations & Inventory SupportSupport POS operations, stock movements, inventory counts, and product transfersIdentify and communicate discrepancies or operational concerns to management promptlyUphold compliance standards related to inventory handling and salesSecurity & Loss PreventionEnforce all loss prevention and safety proceduresMonitor for suspicious activity and protect company assetsFollow all ethical, safety, and compliance standards outlined in company policiesPolicy Adherence & ReportingRemain current on company policies and operational proceduresEnsure policies are upheld during assigned shiftsProactively report issues, risks, or improvement opportunities to managementScheduling & ExpectationsScheduled weekly to open and/or close the storeFlexible availability required, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidaysReliable transportation is required; leadership coverage depends on punctuality and consistencyElevated responsibility balanced with appropriate support and compensationburnout is not an expectationQualifications3+ years of retail and/or supervisory experience (cannabis preferred)Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communicationProficiency with POS systems and inventory toolsDetail-oriented, dependable, and professionalDemonstrated leadership aptitude and interest in advancementNortheast Alternatives has a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and aspires to be reflective of the diverse communities we serve.
