We aspire to be the best solution for the Industrial customers' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.Check out our many videos to learn more! http://www.dxpe.com/about-us/careers/Responsibilities of the Pump Service Technician include, but are not limited to:Diagnose, repair, and rebuild a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment either in-house or in the fieldPerform tear down and inspection to identify scope of work and required components for repairProper communication with Service Manager and Customer Service Support staff requiredParticipation in safety training is required, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must always be wornWill work directly with our customers, vendors, and co-workers to develop and sustain a positive relationshipQualifications of the Pump Service Technician include, but are not limited to:3+ years of mechanical service experience required (diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, aircraft mechanic, etc.)Experience working with rotating equipment necessaryPump knowledge preferredCommunications skills are necessary for this role: Face to face, telephone, and computer skillsWelding and fabrication experience not required, but desirableBackground check, physical, and drug test requiredMust have current driver's license and acceptable driving record according to company guidelines#LI-CB1, #zrcbAdditional Information:Physical Demand: Lift 50 lbs. unassistedWorking Conditions: Shop environment with occasional field work; Requires working in hot (above 90 F degrees) or cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures; includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortableTraining/Certifications: Will be providedShift Time/Overtime: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday; On-Call rotationTravel: Travel to customer sites; Must have a current driver's license and an acceptable driving record according to company guidelinesEducation: High School Diploma required; Technical college degree preferredDXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
