We are looking for individuals with the drive and desire to join our team and help us continue to grow.\r\nSummary:Responsible for handling, moving, and storage of materials and product.\r\nEssential Functions:\r\nProvide assistance to the department in the day-to-day operation of moving materials\r\nEnsure all safety features on the equipment are working properly\r\nStage and segregate product in designated areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements\r\nTimely notification and delivery of receipts to designated personnel\r\nUse moving equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to safely and efficiently move inventory around the warehouse.\r\nDocument movement of materials through a transfer system\r\nComplete daily preventive maintenance checklist on assigned lifts\r\nMonitor inventory by completing counts as required\r\nPackage inventory for safe shipping\r\nAssemble containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions\r\nTake inventory, maintains storage area, organizes and places stock on shelves. Ensure area is secure at all times.\r\nShare ideas, improvements and recommendations for continuous improvement to help optimize results to improve safety and quality.\r\nOther duties as assigned\r\nRequirements:\r\nMust be able to lift as much as 50 lbs. several times a day.\r\nForklift and pallet jack experience strongly preferred.\r\nMust be able to stand for the vast majority of the shift.\r\nWillingness to work overtime to complete any duties as assigned.\r\nThis is manual work requiring frequent sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking.\r\nShift Details:\r\n3rd Shift is Sun - Wed, 4X10hr shifts, 8:15 pm 6:45 am.\r\nAll employees are expected to work overtime hours as needed.
