Ultimately, the Controller contributes to the long-term financial health and sustainability of the company by maintaining robust financial systems and guiding fiscal strategy.\nResponsibilities:\nManage and oversee all daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.\nPrepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.\nDevelop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.\nOrganize financials between multiple entities to ensure clean transactions throughout.\nLead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to align financial plans with organizational goals.\nCoordinate and support external audits and tax filings, ensuring all documentation and schedules are complete and accurate.\nProvide and Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.\nSupervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff to build a high-performing finance team.\nCollaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.\nExperience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.\nPrevious experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role.\nAdvanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis.\nFamiliarity with regulatory requirements specific to the industry.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nMinimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles.\nStrong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).\nProficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.\nExperience preparing financial statements and managing audits.\n\nSkills:\nThe Controller utilizes strong analytical and organizational skills daily to manage complex financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel enables efficient processing and analysis of financial transactions and trends.
