This role supports our mobile workforce and provides expert consultation to IT users for end-user computing and desktop-based LAN systems software. Your expertise will guide users through Tier 2 support, and you'll collaborate with vendors to resolve Tier 3 issues.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nConfigure, install, monitor, and maintain desktop software and hardware for IT users.\r\nProvide technical support and guidance through Tier 2 support, escalating to vendors for Tier 3 issues as needed.\r\nDocument solutions to problems and develop end-user guidelines.\r\nProvide on-site training to users as required.\r\nEvaluate, maintain, modify, and document desktop application packages.\r\nParticipate in testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implement prototypes.\r\nConsult and make recommendations to IT users on hardware and software product selection to meet business requirements.\r\nWork on multiple projects as a project team member and coach junior technical staff.\r\nRequired Skills\r\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.\r\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in IT support for desktop software and hardware products.\r\nProven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\r\nExperience providing maintenance and support for moderately complex to complex client products.\r\nAbility to work concurrently on multiple projects.\r\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\r\nWhy Work with Us\r\nAt Cook Systems, we don't just offer jobs—we build futures.
