Learn more about MDI at www.mdilubes.com.\r\nMorgan Distributing, Inc. is an ExxonMobil Lubricant Distributor headquartered in Decatur, Illinois with 3 additional locations in Fairfield, Illinois, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Valparaiso, Indiana.\r\nWe are currently seeking a Hybrid Driver with a CDL Class A for our location Cape Girardeau, MO.\r\nThe CDL Class A Transport & Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of bulk lubricants and packaged petroleum products between supplier facilities, company branches, and customer locations.\r\nThe primary function of this position is to operate Class A tractor-trailer combinations, including bulk tanker and dry van trailers, for supplier pickups, branch transfers, and other transport assignments.\r\nThe driver will also provide operational coverage as needed by operating Class B straight trucks, including bulk tank trucks and packaged-product delivery vehicles, on customer delivery routes.\r\nThis position requires a safety-focused professional driver with experience operating commercial motor vehicles, handling bulk and packaged lubricant products, completing DOT-required documentation, and maintaining accurate product and delivery records.\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\nOperate Class A tractor-trailer combinations, including bulk tanker and dry van equipment, to transport bulk lubricants and packaged products between supplier facilities, company branches, and customer locations.\r\nPick up products from designated supplier facilities and Morgan Distributings Decatur facility.\r\nPerform scheduled and as-needed inter-branch transfers of bulk and packaged products.\r\nLoad, transport, and unload bulk lubricant shipments in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and applicable safety regulations.\r\nLoad, secure, transport, and unload packaged lubricant products utilizing proper cargo securement procedures.\r\nOperate Class B straight trucks and tank trucks on customer delivery routes as needed to support branch operations and customer service requirements.\r\nDeliver bulk lubricants directly into customer storage tanks using pumps, hoses, meters, and associated delivery equipment.\r\nVerify correct product, quantity, tank identification, and available tank capacity prior to initiating bulk product transfer.\r\nMonitor gauges, meters, hoses, connections, and product flow throughout loading and unloading operations.\r\nPerform packaged-product deliveries utilizing pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and other approved material-handling equipment as applicable.\r\nTransfer products from drums, totes, and other containers into customer tanks or containers when required.\r\nComplete all delivery documentation accurately, including electronic delivery records, quantities delivered, customer signatures, bills of lading, transfer documentation, and other required paperwork.\r\nPerform required pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) as required.\r\nImmediately report vehicle or equipment defects, leaks, spills, mechanical concerns, accidents, or unsafe operating conditions to management.\r\nMaintain compliance with applicable FMCSA/DOT regulations, including Hours-of-Service requirements, electronic logging requirements, vehicle inspection requirements, and required driver qualification documentation.\r\nPhysical Demands:\r\nThe physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. The employee must be able to:\r\nEnter and exit commercial vehicles and tractor-trailer equipment throughout the workday.\r\nClimb onto equipment and access loading/unloading connections as required.\r\nConnect, handle, and store bulk-product hoses and fittings.\r\nBend, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and walk on varying surfaces.\r\nMove packaged products manually or with approved material-handling equipment.\r\nOccasionally lift up-to 50 pounds and move loads of up to 100 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance.\r\nWork outdoors in varied weather and temperature conditions.\r\nExpected Hours of Work:\r\nHours are determined by Morgan Distributing, Inc. Branch Manager based on demand and customer need. This position involves hours before and beyond core hours of 7:30a to 4:30p. Position is guaranteed 40 hours a week, however, overtime is not a guarantee.
