BendTec, LLC takes pride in our quality of work and has a goal of building our workforce with the most talented employees. You’ll have an opportunity to work on a wide range of projects on a national and global scale. We can meet you at any skill level, whether you are just starting your career or have years of experience under your belt.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nClamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts.\nRemove rough spots from work pieces using portable grinders, hand files or scrapers.\nFeather or remove tacks using electric or pneumatic grinders prior to welding beading pass.\nChip or grind off excess weld, slag or spatter using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders or arc-cutting equipment.\nWeld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.\nOperate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, submerged arc welding and shielded metal arc.\nAll welding on non-critical piping assemblies, structural and architectural assemblies, and any other non-high pressured piping assemblies.\nNon-production welding such as the attachment of holding legs and hydro test caps.\nCleanup work area often and after every shift.\nProduce quality product as required by customer specifications and regulation requirements.\nComply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies and regulations.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED:\nEducation: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred\nExperience: 1 plus year of experience in welding: Preferred; additional onsite training!\nComputer Skills: None specifically required\nCertifications & Licenses: None specifically required\nOther Requirements: None specifically required\nWHAT WE OFFER:\nThis is a Union position which offers a competitive compensation package including zero premium health and dental benefits.\nPaid vacation, retirement funding and holiday time.\nCareer growth opportunities through hands-on training and mentorships.\nWork alongside industry leaders and mentors.\nCoaching from experienced leaders who are dedicated to helping you grow and reach your full potential.\nOpportunities to take on new challenges and responsibilities that will stretch your abilities and expand your horizons.\nA supportive and collaborative work environment where you are encouraged to share your ideas and contribute to our shared goals.\nWHO WE ARE:\nWith over 100 years of experience, BendTec, LLC is a leading advanced manufacturing services provider for those focused on building the future.
