AI Native Software Engineer
Akkodis is seeking an AI Native Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate must have strong handson experience building AI/LLMbased systems in production, including agent-based architectures, RAG pipelines, and cloudnative services.Rate Range: $145/hour to $150/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.AI Native Software Engineer job responsibilities include:Design, build, and maintain AI agent workflows, including RAG pipelines, orchestration, tool integration, and policy-driven routing.Develop cloudnative backend services and APIs to support AI-driven applications and enterprise system integrations.Implement monitoring, evaluation, and observability frameworks to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of AI systems.Optimize AI and system performance across cost, scalability, and latency in production environments.Build and deploy microservices-based architectures, including containerized and serverless solutions using modern cloud technologies.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).8-10+ years of experience in software engineering, delivering production-grade systems.3+ years of hands-on experience building AI/LLM-based systems (agents, RAG, orchestration frameworks).Strong expertise in Python, Java, or similar backend programming languages.Experience with cloud-native technologies, including microservices, APIs, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and observability tools. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar.Experience designing multi-agent or distributed AI systems.Familiarity with multi-model / multi-provider AI architectures.Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise-scale systems.Proven experience optimizing AI workloads for cost, performance, and scalability.
