However, demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and fine motor skills is desirable.Any knowledge of manufacturing or experience with electronics is a plus.Supervisory Responsibility Individual contributor. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment and Physical Demands Climate-controlled indoor manufacturing plant. Must be able to sit at a bench for up to 9 hours a day and stand for up to 5 hours a day. May be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Hours of Work The production work schedule is four ten-hour shifts Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. NOTE THE EARLY START TIME - repeated tardiness will be cause for dismissal. Available overtime is limited. Training You will receive on-the-job training to perform all required tasks. Travel / Work Location No business travel in required. 100% in NK's plant in Boothwyn, PA. You must have reliable transportation.Pay Rate $15.50 per hour. Annual pay raises are issued in January based on the NK Assembler Skills Matrix. You will be trained on the job and encouraged to learn new skills and principles of lean manufacturing.
