reporting packages for leadership\r\nEnsure consistency and integrity of financial data across the organization\r\nProvide insight into financial performance, not just reporting\r\nPlanning & Forecasting\r\nSupport budgeting and forecasting processes\r\nAnalyze variances and help leadership understand drivers of performance\r\nImprove forecasting accuracy over time\r\nOperational Finance\r\nPartner cross-functionally (Engineering, Sales, Operations) to align financials with business activity\r\nTranslate business activity into financial impact and decision support\r\nIdentify scale\r\nEnsure readiness for audit and compliance requirements\r\nWhat We're Looking For\r\nProven experience as a Controller in a SaaS environment\r\nExperience owning both accounting and finance responsibilities\r\nAbility to operate in a lean, fast-moving environment with competing priorities\r\nComfortable working in a globally distributed organization\r\nStrong ownership mindset with the business continues to evolve.\r\nWork Environment\r\nHybrid role with periodic in-person collaboration required in the Peninsula area\r\nCandidates must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area\r\n10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including time as a Controller or equivalent lead role\r\nDeep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, etc.)\r\nHands-on experience with Sage Intacct\r\nProven working experience as a Controller in a small to mid-size VC backed company\r\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (advanced degree a plus)\r\nCPA or CMA preferred\r\nDeep experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation\r\nUnderstanding of GAAP and financial reporting\r\nContract Phase (Initial Engagement):\r\nHourly rate\r\nNo benefits during the contract period\r\nUpon Conversion to Full-Time:\r\nBase salary: $200,000–$220,000 + bonus\r\nHealth benefits: 100% employee / 95% dependent
