This role requires a deep understanding of network security principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDesign, implement, and manage network security solutions using Palo Alto Networks technologies.\r\nConduct regular security assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate risks.\r\nCollaborate with cross functional teams to ensure network security policies and procedures are adhered to.\r\nMonitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.\r\nProvide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.\r\nStay updated on the latest security threats and trends, and recommend improvements to existing security measures.\r\nDocument network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.\r\nParticipate in on call rotation and respond to network incidents as needed.\r\nThe SME is expected to provide on call support on an as required basis\r\nMandatory Skills\r\nStrong expertise in Palo Alto Networks Security products and solutions.\r\nIn depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.\r\nExperience with firewall configuration and management.\r\nProficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools.\r\nSolid understanding of VPN technologies and secure remote access solutions.\r\nAbility to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively.\r\nPreferred Skills\r\nCertifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or equivalent.\r\nExperience with cloud networking and security solutions.\r\nFamiliarity with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash).\r\nKnowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA) and their application in network security.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\r\n7 10 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on security.\r\nProven experience with Palo Alto Networks products and solutions.\r\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills.\r\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\r\nThe pay range for this role is $ 95,000 - $100,000*per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
