This position performs building maintenance, coordinates production-equipment service, and leads environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to maintain a safe and efficient manufacturing site. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, and a passion for safety and continuous improvement.\r\nRESPONSIBILITIES\r\nFacilities & Equipment Coordination:\r\nPerform and document routine maintenance on building systems (HVAC, lighting, electrical, plumbing, and general infrastructure).\r\nOversee and coordinate preventive maintenance for production equipment, ensuring schedules are followed, service is completed, and spare parts are available.\r\nPartner with production and engineering teams to track equipment downtime, repairs, and vendor performance.\r\nManage relationships with service contractors, vendors, and suppliers.\r\nMaintain facility documentation – work orders, equipment logs, maintenance schedules, and utility usage.\r\nSupport small capital improvement projects and facility layout changes.\r\nEnvironmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordination:\r\nLead EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.\r\nWork with all department leaders to identify health-safety workplace risks.\r\nConduct routine safety inspections and hazard assessments.\r\nMaintain EHS documentation: training records, SDS files, incident reports, and compliance logs.\r\nCoordinate and lead safety training programs (PPE, lockout/tagout, forklift, hazard communication, etc).\r\nManage hazardous waste, recycling, and environmental reporting.\r\nSupport emergency preparedness and maintain facility safety equipment (fire extinguishers, alarms, eyewash stations, etc).\r\nCollaborate with HR and Operations to promote a strong safety culture.\r\nAdditional job duties as assigned.\r\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\r\nMinimum 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance and EHS coordination in a manufacturing or industrial environment.\r\nStrong organization and coordination skills, including the ability to track multiple vendors, service schedules, and equipment needs.\r\nWorking knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and basic environmental compliance.\r\nMechanical or technical aptitude for understanding equipment and maintenance processes.\r\nExcellent communication and record-keeping skills.\r\nComfortable with public speaking/training presentations.\r\nComfortable working in a fast-paced environment.\r\nExcellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook skills.\r\nCertifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, HAZWOPER, and/or First Aid/CPR preferred.\r\nExperience with maintenance management software or CMMS systems preferred.\r\nREQUIRED EDUCTION\r\nMinimum: High school graduate or equivalent.\r\nAdditional applicable schooling/certifications preferred.\r\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS\r\nPhysical requirements: Will occasionally/frequently stand, bend, kneel, walk, sit, climb stairs/ladder, use both hands, use manual and power hand tools, and carry/lift/push/pull to 50 lbs.\r\nThis is a full-time position located at our Camarillo facility, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Additional hours, including coming in early/staying late and working weekends as required.\r\nWe are ITAR Registered (International-Traffic-In-Arms-Regulations).
