(The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Summary:The Legacy Engines and APU Structures Group within the Component Design & Analysis (CDA) directorate is responsible for the design, development and analysis of static gas turbine engine components. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing and leading subordinate efforts on stress, vibration, and heat transfer analyses. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise on a variety of engine and power systems programs. You will use your expert knowledge of engineering discipline and standards, processes and tools to ensure compliance to customer and program requirements.
