Medical Assistant

Duties
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Perform vital signs assessments, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for otolaryngology.
Support the medical team in the operating room (OR) by preparing instruments and assisting during surgical procedures.
Ensure a clean and organized clinic environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations and medical-surgical environments is beneficial.
Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic clinical tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred.
