We will rely on your expertise to develop accurate budgets, evaluate project risks, and support our clients from concept through construction.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nPrepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and final estimates for Life Science and Office Tenant Improvement projects.\nAnalyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine complete project scope.\nSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.\nPerform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analyses.\nIdentify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives.\nDevelop and maintain project budgets throughout the preconstruction process.\nAssist with bid leveling, scope reviews, and subcontractor qualification efforts.\nCollaborate with project managers, superintendents, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate project planning.\nSupport proposal development, client presentations, and project interviews.\nMonitor market conditions, labor trends, and material pricing to ensure competitive estimates.\nParticipate in project turnover meetings to support a seamless transition from preconstruction to operations.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\n3+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience within commercial construction.\nExperience estimating Life Science, laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or Office Tenant Improvement projects.\nStrong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and building systems.\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.\nExperience with takeoff and estimating software such as OST, Bluebeam, BuildingConnected, Procore, Sage Estimating, or similar platforms.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.\n\nBenefits\n\nBase ($125,000-$175,000) + Bonus\n401k match\nFull Medical, Dental and Vision\nGenerous PTO\nLap top, Cell phone\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
