GRANT FINANCIAL ANALYSTLocation: Stamford, CTReports to: Grants OfficerHourly Rate: $70-100K, depending on level of expertisePosition SummaryPrepare, maintain, and reconcile financial records and reports for municipal and Board of Education grant programs. Monitor expenditures, track cash, ensure grant compliance, and assist with audits.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare financial statements, reports, and analyses for grant programsReview expenditure reports for budget compliance and accuracyMaintain grant databases (revenues, expenditures, technical data)Prepare and submit vouchers, appropriation forms, and transfer requestsReconcile accounts with department heads and resolve discrepanciesAssist with annual budget preparation for grant fundsCreate Projects, Awards, Budgets, and invoices in OracleCalculate employee benefits, indirect costs, and grant chargesSupport tax abatement calculations and database maintenanceAssist auditors with documentation and single audit verificationTrain staff on grant regulations and City proceduresRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field3+ years grant accounting or financial management experienceOracle proficiencyStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationPreferred QualificationsMunicipal or government accounting experienceSingle audit and ACFR reporting knowledgePrior grant management background
