Simply put, we create experiences that connect people.\n\nWhat you’ll accomplish:\n\nOversees the building maintenance of association-owned properties\nInspects facility routinely, establishes and implements a facilities preventative maintenance schedule/calendar and maintains records of planned service\nBuilds key relationships with vendors and contractors while directing and evaluating their work\nMaintains updated facility records and creates reports\nOversees the set-up of rooms and amenities\nPrepares annual department budget and monitors departmental performance against adopted budget\nEnsures signage, lighting, gate closures and safety equipment are in working order including cleaning and structural maintenance\nOversee seasonal and natural weather situations providing oversight and written documentation to assure a completed process and safe access for our community\nProvides light carpentry, plumbing services, and electronic and computer updates to association equipment\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal\nA minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management\nAbility to establish and maintain good working relationships with Board, staff, residents, volunteers, and contractors\nExtensive knowledge of grounds maintenance\nStrong supervisory skills to manage the work of employees, contractors, and vendors\nAbility to work evenings and weekends as necessary\nStrong computers skills with Microsoft Office\nSkills in carpentry, HVAC, electric, plumbing, and other building trades\nExperience working for a community association, country club or parks and recreation in a similar position\nMust be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, particularly high heat, and to walk long distances to perform physical inspections\nMust be able to repetitively lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform other physical labor\nA valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance\nMust pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check\n\nThe physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:\n\nMobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.\nLifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.\nExtended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.\nManual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.\nDriving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions.
