{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"c6b74729fd3ced828211df6a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c6b74729fd3ced828211df6a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/c6b74729fd3ced828211df6a","title":"Welder","description":"Description:\r\nThis position will work within teams to weld aluminum and steel enclosed and aluminum open trailer frames\r\nFollowing health and safety rules, wear personal protective equipment\r\nRead and correctly interpret work orders\r\nProper operation of welding machines, grinders, torches, tape measures, squares, cranes and miter/chop saws\r\nProficiency at reading and executing BOM's and blueprints\r\nDemonstrate understanding and application of weld types (ex: Fillet, Seam, Spot, etc.)\r\nDemonstrate understanding and application of joint types (ex: Butt, Corner, Edge, Lap, Tee)\r\nDemonstrate understanding and application of weld pass positions (Push/Pull, Uphill/Downhill, etc)\r\nMIG Weld aluminum\r\nMIG Weld steel\r\nTIG Weld aluminum\r\nDemonstrate understanding and proper use of framing jigs for models and layouts\r\nDemonstrate ability to perform within multiple workstations (Frame Table, Walls, Roof, Fab)\r\nEnsure correct axle placement and squareness\r\nMeasure, square, and plumb linears prior to final weld placements\r\nEnsure ramp doors/gates are installed plumb and square and function properly\r\nGrind any raised welds in areas that will be covered by another flush mount material later (Skins, Roofing, Wood)\r\nInspect work for completion prior to releasing to next cell\r\nStore tools and materials in proper locations when not in use\r\nMaintain clean shop floor between units and at the end of shiftRequirements:\r\nUse various power and hand tools, experience preferred\r\nRead and use a tape measure\r\nWillingness to cross-train between departments\r\nRead and follow work instructions\r\nAble to work 40 -
