requirements.Contribute to the architecture and design of next-generation aerospace systems.Ensure compliance with established software engineering standards and development processes.Requirements Analysis & Technical ReviewsParticipate in requirements analysis and software design activities.Review software requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.Participate in peer code reviews and design reviews to improve software quality and maintainability.Provide technical recommendations that enhance product performance and reliability.Support traceability between requirements, design, implementation, and testing activities.System Integration, Testing & ValidationSupport software integration activities across avionics, hardware, and platform components.Participate in laboratory testing, troubleshooting, and validation efforts.Develop and execute software verification and validation activities.Debug and resolve software defects throughout the development lifecycle.Collaborate with testing and certification teams to ensure successful product qualification and release.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with systems engineers, hardware engineers, test engineers, and certification teams.Support the delivery of integrated solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.Participate in technical discussions and project planning activities.Communicate technical concepts and project status effectively within the engineering team.Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering practices.Quality, Compliance & Continuous LearningFollow aerospace software development standards, guidelines, and best practices.Support compliance with industry certification and regulatory requirements.Maintain high standards of software quality through testing, documentation, and review processes.Stay current with emerging software development technologies and aerospace engineering practices.Continuously develop technical expertise and expand engineering capabilities.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline.Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience.Strong programming experience in C++ and object-oriented software development.Knowledge of software design principles, algorithms, data structures, and software engineering methodologies.Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering environment.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting aerospace, avionics, embedded systems, or safety-critical software applications.Familiarity with avionics software development lifecycles and aerospace standards.Experience with requirements management, modeling, or systems engineering tools.Knowledge of software integration, verification, and validation processes.Experience working in regulated environments with strict quality and compliance requirements.Understanding of real-time systems, embedded software, and mission-critical
