Clear feedback will be delivered in a test report.\n\nConsult during the kick‑off phase of projects to reduce risk, and request necessary product for pre‑shipment testing of production equipment.\n\nIdentify and document patterns of successful applications and implement upstream processes with this data to reduce the need for formal equipment runoff testing.\n\nSupport equipment troubleshooting for field issues, sometimes at a customer site.\n\nLead customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at Intralox facility.\n\nIdentify and execute continuous improvement opportunities, often working with adjacent teams to implement.\n\nDevelop knowledge, becoming a subject matter expert on Active Roller Belt (ARB) equipment with respect to functionality and troubleshooting.\n\nDirect involvement with the function and performance of each piece of equipment delivered.\n\nUse engineering principles and mechanical skills to build innovative solutions to real‑world material handling and conveyance challenges.\n\nCollaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill project requirements.\n\nMaintain a database of historical documentation for testing results.\n\nOccasionally represent the test team during inter‑departmental meetings.\n\nFollow all safety procedures and policies while on the production floor.\n\nExhibit teamwork, self‑management, objective decision‑making, and LCI principles.\n\nPosition Requirements\n\nBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nProficient with measuring devices, hand tools, and reading mechanical drawings.\n\nStrong technical and mechanical aptitude.\n\nPositive, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.\n\nExperience with hand, air, and power tools such as a tape measure, level, mechanics tools, drills, impact guns.\n\nGoal‑oriented team player.\n\nAdaptable, able to navigate and execute problem‑solving in unique situations.\n\nWilling and able to be hands‑on and work with all levels and types of people (Account Managers, Engineers, Technicians, production staff).\n\nExcellent computer skills with working knowledge of 3D CAD.\n\nProficient with Microsoft programs specifically with Excel, Word, OneNote, and PowerPoint.\n\nTravel may be required up to 10‑20% of the time and weekend work when needed.\n\nAbility to lift 40 lbs.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with Intralox product line.\n\n1+ years of engineering experience in product testing or automation/industrial equipment production.\n\nFamiliarity with all forms of conveyor line applications.\n\nPrevious experience working with lean manufacturing concepts or principles.\n\nPrevious experience working in a manufacturing industry.\n\nPrevious experience working in a warehouse environment.\n\nPrevious experience with Inventor.\n\nPrevious experience interfacing and training customers in a professional environment.\n\nBenefits\nIntralox’s benefit program is a major part of an employee’s total compensation and may include health, dental, vision, and disability insurance, paid time off, 401(k), flexible spending account, life and AD&D insurance, long‑term care, tuition reimbursement, and additional voluntary benefits.\n\nCompensation\nThe salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
