This is an opportunity to contribute directly to mission-critical avionics and embedded capabilities that enable the performance, safety, and effectiveness of next-generation military aviation systems.\r\nThis position requires a software engineer to use a wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the software field to develop, integrate, and test software products. The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. In this role, you will work independently at times on projects, at other times will be in a collaborative team environment with other software engineers, as well as other program development and deployment teams.\r\nSelected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Continued eligibility for access to classified information is required throughout employment, as dictated by program needs.\r\nBasic Requirements:\r\nBachelors Degree or equivalent\r\n8+ years of embedded software development experience\r\nC++ development for safety-critical avionics systems\r\nReal-Time Operating Systems (MOSA.ic, VxWorks, Integrity)\r\nEmbedded application development in Linux (ie Yocto/RHEL), Windows, & Bare Metal environments\r\nSoftware integration & test in lab and hardware environments\r\nAbility to work onsite 100%\r\nAbility to travel 10%\r\nPreferred / Additional Skills\r\nProficient with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.)\r\nVersion control and issue tracking (Gitlab, Atlassian suite)\r\nFlight Software Development Experience\r\nProficient in Python development\r\nFamiliarity with software requirements development utilizing Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools (ie Cameo)\r\nDigital simulation (SIL/MIL/HIL) and closed-loop testing\r\nHardware/software integration and troubleshooting\r\nExperience with safety-critical software development and practices (DO-178C)\r\nExperience with Navigation, Guidance and Control Implementation\r\nExperience with Signal Processing Implementation\r\nExperience communicating and documenting complex technical designs\r\nAbility to work in a collaborative and team-based environment\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills\r\nSound Exciting?Get in touch today!
