ESTEAM/AI/Technology Coordinator (YHS)Term: Two-Year Appointment (2026/2027 and 2027/2028 School Years)Stipend: As per YCT ContractReports to: Building PrincipalPurposeIn collaboration with the Instructional Technology Specialist the ESTEAM/AI Coordinator serves as a building-level teacher-leader supporting age-appropriate Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy and ESTEAM.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a liaison between building staff and the District Technology Department.Partner with the District Instructional Technology Specialist to design and implement age-appropriate AI literacy programs and share building needs.Plan and lead building-level professional development to be turn-keyed in the building.Explore and advocate for strategic AI tools to enhance instructional efficiency and student learning.Coordinate directly with the building Teaching Assistant (CTA) for Technology to support classroom-level initiatives and hardware/software needs.Collaborate with the members of the District Technology Department and other ESTEAM/AI coordinators.Work with the Principal and Director of Technology to review software purchases and recommendations that support building goals.Beta-test and evaluate emerging hardware and software tools.Assist in preparing for Board of Education "Good News" presentations.Other duties as assigned by the Building Principal or the Director of TechnologyQualificationsValid New York State teaching certificate Strong organizational and communication skills REVISED: 5/20/2026
