Join our team as a Sr. Process Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in developing and integrating photolithography semiconductor equipment. This role is based primarily in Portland, Oregon, with potential training opportunities in Texas, Oregon, or Japan.\nLocation: Portland, Oregon (with potential training in Texas, Oregon, or Japan)\nResponsibilities:\nSupport the process qualification, development, and integration of semiconductor equipment.\nEstablish new wafer fabrication process technologies for semiconductor manufacturing.\nDesign and conduct tests, analyze data, and present findings.\nCollaborate with various experts to enhance manufacturing processes.\nEvaluate new hardware and software with high quality.\nIdentify and resolve issues effectively.\nPrepare comprehensive reports and presentations.\nInteract with customers with minimal supervision.\nMust Have:\nEducation: PhD preferred, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.\nTechnical Skills: Experience or knowledge in optical systems, lasers, software, robotics, precision mechanical skills, or chemicals.\nSoftware Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux operating systems for system operation and troubleshooting.\nMechanical Skills: Hands-on mechanical skills preferred.\nTesting Experience: Practical experience with electronic testing tools required.\nProblem-Solving: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other engineers under challenging conditions.\nCommunication: Excellent troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.\nCustomer Support: Experience in customer support is a plus.\nAdditional Information:\nTravel: Must be able to travel and work flexible schedules. Domestic and international travel may be required. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record necessary.\nEnvironment: Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment for most of the day (including wearing protective clothing such as cleanroom suits, facemasks, gloves, and safety glasses).\nPhysical Requirements: Position requires continuous physical effort including standing, walking, sitting, repetitive motion, and lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted. Lifting more than 25 pounds requires assistance.
