Accurate acquisition and disposition of product in boundbook. Safe operation of industrial equipment.Responsibilities-Material Handler I\r\nCertified on industrial equipment to move materials to and from various locations including, loading docks, trucks, and warehouse environment.\r\nAcquisition and disposition of product in boundbook using ERP system and always ensuring accuracy.\r\nBanding and wrapping of pallets to ensure quality of product is maintained.\r\nPrepare packaging materials for product.\r\nEnsure labels are properly affixed, to outside of product container.\r\nPerforms counts on firearms and parts under direct supervision as needed.\r\nAssemble boxes to meet established daily goals.\r\nTransports materials, supplies, and finished goods with care and caution.\r\nMaintain sound working knowledge and application of firearms safety.\r\nPerform initial inspection of own work to ensure that few or no mistakes are made in the assembly of the product.\r\nProduces the required quantity of parts and/or product to meet established daily goals.\r\nComplete all required paperwork timely and accurately.\r\nAdhere to all employment policies/safety policies/practices required by law/established by Company.\r\nWear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment as always directed by Company.\r\nImmediately report any maintenance and/or safety issues to supervisor\r\nMaintain respect, courtesy, a positive attitude and professionalism towards all co-workers and the Company.\r\nOther duties will be assigned, as required.\r\nQualifications &Knowledge Required\r\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. These requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes and gases is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of light manufacturing, shipping and receiving, and normal office equipment (computers, telephones, etc.). No known environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of job duties.Physical Demands\r\nThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
