Job Title: IT AdministratorLocation: Dover, NH (On-Site)Department: Information TechnologyReports To: Director of ITEmployment Type: Full-TimePosition SummaryThe IT Administrator is responsible for keeping Q's technology running. This role supports end users, maintains systems, and ensures our infrastructure is stable, secure, and efficient. You are the first line of defense when things break and the person who makes sure they don't break again.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network issuesInstall, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, printers, and network devicesManage system backups and support data recovery effortsAssist with network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless)Troubleshoot issues across systems, vendors, and usersPerform routine maintenance (updates, patches, antivirus, system checks)Support IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and deploymentsDocument systems, processes, and configurationsTrain users on tools and systems as neededTrack and manage IT assets and equipment inventoryEnsure adherence to IT security policies and best practicesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)2-5 years of relevant IT support or administration experienceStrong working knowledge of Windows operating systems (Linux is a plus)Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Basic understanding of IT security principles and best practicesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentAbility to work on-site in Dover, NHPreferred QualificationsCompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certificationsExperience with Microsoft environments and toolsExposure to firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructureCore CompetenciesTechnical ProficiencyProblem Solving and Analytical ThinkingCommunication SkillsTeam CollaborationCustomer Service OrientationAdaptability and FlexibilityAttention to Detail and DocumentationJ-18808-Ljbffr
