Typical schedule is Monday through Friday 6am-3pm. Overtime work should be expected for this position. This is a field-based position and requires paid travel to various job sites daily. Location: Bellflower area of LA.\r\nTravel\r\nTravel is expected for this position. A valid California Driver's License and Clean DMV is required. Company vehicle and gas card provided for work use.\r\nQualifications\r\nThe functions listed below are a portion of what is required for this position. The job functions will change along with location and may expand at any time. Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on construction projects; perform manual work.\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r\nRead Blueprints and engineering files.\r\nProvide field constructability reviews and corrections to engineering plans.\r\nSupervise, evaluate and report on subcontracting and in-house personnel's performance.\r\nCoordinate construction efforts through in-house and contract labor for new construction and rebuild projects.\r\nCoordinate with engineers and project management in designing revisions to plant. Draw and sketch installation and location of equipment such as splice cabinets, cable routes, utility poles and pole anchors.\r\nMonitor contractor performance and insure adherence to terms and conditions of agreements.\r\nPerform site inspections for quality control.\r\nCoordinate permitting, make-ready process and cable placement.\r\nManage relationships between contractors, crews, city officials and sonic.\r\nCommunicate with management or designated supervisor regarding concerns about construction progress.\r\nReview and process damage claims, failed inspections or gigs.\r\nProvide detailed updates to schedules and production rates on a daily and weekly basis.\r\nPerform other duties as requested by supervisor.\r\nJob Requirements\r\n3 Years telecommunications technical experience.\r\nAbility to problem solve technical situations.\r\nStrong basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets.\r\nKnowledge of National Electrical Code and G.O. 95.\r\nAbility to prioritize competing tasks with deadlines.\r\nExtreme organizational skills.\r\nAbility to supervise and motivate others.\r\nKnowledge of telecommunication products and services.\r\n$28 - $30/hour\r\nBenefits and Perks\r\nMedical + Dental + Vision benefits\r\n401k and Profit Sharing\r\nPaid Time Off\r\nEducation opportunities\r\nUse of company vehicle\r\nCompany Paid Pregnancy/Bonding Leave\r\nWork Environment & Physical Demands\r\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
