About the Opportunity:The Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) plays a critical role in supporting a modernization initiative for call center applications. This position is responsible for enhancing application stability, supporting cloud-based deployments, and facilitating the transformation of legacy platforms into digital self-service chat and voice bot solutions. The role contributes by ensuring system reliability, performance, and availability through collaboration across teams and incident response.3. Responsibilities:• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure application reliability and performance• Support provisioning, readiness, and operations of cloud environments• Monitor and assist with pipeline setup and cloud deployments• Participate in production support, war rooms, and incident response efforts• Debug issues across regions by analyzing logs and system behavior• Use application performance monitoring tools to troubleshoot and prevent issues• Maintain reliability, availability, and performance of distributed systems• Define, measure, and monitor SLIs and SLOs• Identify reliability risks and support mitigation plans• Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews• Improve runbooks, automation, and tooling to reduce operational workload• Enhance detection, alerting, and response workflows• Implement telemetry using tools like OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Splunk• Build dashboards for system health and AI service behavior visibility• Ensure observability data is accurate and actionable• Support safe deployment workflows including canaries and automated rollbacks• Assist in enhancing CI/CD systems and deployment tooling• Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams• Contribute to reliability reviews and operational readiness• Advocate for modern SRE and DevOps practices4. Requirements:• Bachelor''s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience• Minimum 5 years of experience deploying and supporting cloud platform applications (GCP, AWS, Azure)• At least 4 years in SRE, DevOps, or production support-focused software engineering roles• Minimum 3 years working with cloud-based deployments and CI/CD pipelines• Experience with application performance monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana)• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python and React• Experience with Terraform and environment provisioning• Skilled in querying logs, tracing transactions, and root cause analysis of application issuesPreferred Qualifications:• Experience in large-scale or legacy system modernization• Familiarity with call center or digital self-service bot applications• Exposure to global delivery models with distributed teams• Strong cross-team collaboration skills5.
