The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from intakethrough delivery. This role partners closely with the CTO, IT team, managed service providers and business stakeholders to ensure initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities, executed efficiently and delivered with high quality. The position plays a critical role in driving operational excellence, compliance readiness and continuous improvement across the technology function. The salary range is $175,000 - $190,000 and is hybrid (4/1) in Oakland.\r\nRESPONSIBILITIES\r\nCoordinate and drive technology initiatives, both organization-wide and departmental, from intake through completion.\r\nManage the intake and prioritization of technology initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and capacity.\r\nCoordinate execution across the IT Coordinator, MSP (Endsight), CTO, vendors, and internal stakeholders without direct line management.\r\nDevelop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery metrics.\r\nOwn compliance driven initiatives, including SOC 2 readiness, audit coordination, evidence collection, and remediation tracking.\r\nIdentify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and process improvement across departments.\r\nDesign and maintain technology performance metrics and reporting frameworks for IT functions and vendors; define KPIs and tracking methods with leadership.\r\nDevelop, manage, and track the IT budget, including forecasting, spend analysis, and variance reporting.\r\nProactively assess and manage technology, delivery, and compliance risks to prevent issues before they impact operations.\r\nPartner with the CTO to translate future state infrastructure and security initiatives into executable programs.\r\nProvide regular status reporting and executive briefings to ensure transparency and alignment.\r\nAddress delivery issues, resource constraints, and competing priorities as they arise.\r\nCoordinate technical resources and vendor deliverables during active projects.\r\nSupport system rollouts, upgrades, integrations, and change management initiatives.\r\nEstablish and support quality assurance practices during system implementations, vendor transitions, and platform modernization efforts.\r\nAlign project execution with day-to-day IT operations in partnership with the IT Coordinator.\r\nMaintain program documentation and audit artifacts to support governance and oversight.\r\nPerform additional duties as required.\r\nQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).\r\n8+ years of leadership and hands-on experience in technical program management, IT project management, or enterprise technology delivery.\r\nExperience working with managed service providers (MSPs), external vendors and internal technical teams.\r\nProven success managing complex, cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments.\r\nStrong expertise in IT infrastructure, security, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2 or similar).\r\nExperience working with work management / project management software such as Asana or Monday.com\r\nExperience leading the planning, execution and delivery of technical projects leveraging AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift).\r\nExperience managing project planning, execution and delivery using tools such as Jira for task tracking and Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing.\r\nDemonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority.\r\nStrong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.\r\nExcellent risk management, problem-solving and organizational skills.\r\nExceptional communication and executive presentation skills.\r\nProficiency with Agile project management methodology and tools.\r\nPreferred Qualifications: Experience leading SOC 2 or similar compliance and audit initiatives.\r\nBackground in software development or close collaboration with engineering teams, with the ability to understand and manage development workflows.\r\nKnowledge of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.\r\nExperience turning metrics into compelling visual dashboards in Tableau\r\nExperience with M&A and company expansion.\r\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: May be tasked with lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 25 lbs., if able to do so.\r\nMust be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for moderate periods of time.\r\nMust be able to bend at the knees and waist frequently\r\nMust be able to repetitively use a telephone and a computer mouse and keyboard.\r\nAll employment is contingent on candidates providing at least two positive professional references from prior managers.\r\nWe are looking for local candidates only.
