Registered Nurse- Inpatient Weekend - Surgical, Oncology, General Medicine, Hospice (2S) - Full-Time - 7am-7:30pm; 72 hours per pay

* Schedule: Full-Time; 7am-7:30pm; Weekend hours are defined as 3:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday. The 3rd day will be based on the needs of the department; 72 hours per pay* Department: Surgical, Oncology, General Medicine, Hospice (2S)* Location: Henry Ford Genesys Hospital* Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.* Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.* Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutionsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Minimum of 1 year RN experience; if Nurse Resident, all residency requirements must be completed including clinical requirements.Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.Current RN licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
