Our client is a Manufacturing facility. The CNC Machinist II is responsible for cutting, shaping, and refining raw materials into finished products.Responsibilities Of a CNC MACHINIST II Includes Setting up and operating CNC machines: Selecting tools, holding fixtures, and methods for producing parts Reading and interpreting CNC programs: Making changes to correct tool wear and program oversights Inspecting parts: Using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and meet drawing requirements Maintaining production rates: Meeting pre-established standards and producing parts that meet quality requirements Performing secondary operations: Setting up and operating simple machines like drill presses and stamping presses Identifying ways to improve quality and productivity: Proposing new ways to machine parts Assisting with training: Helping to train co-workers Maintaining safety and quality standards: Adhering to company procedures and guidelines Communicating with co-workers and managers: Keeping them informed about production Troubleshooting machine issues: Advising the maintenance department or supervisor of any issues REQUIRED Experience And Education At least 5-7 years of previous CNC Machining experience working with WorkNC, MasterCAM, or CAD/CAM software.
