In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and integration of robust hardware systems, including advanced PCBs featuring high-speed data interfaces, external memory architectures, and RF sections. You will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to develop cutting-edge solutions, from sensor integration and hybrid MCU/FPGA systems to augmented reality (AR) and real-time tactical applications.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nDesign PCBs using ECAD design tools.\nBuild and test prototypes on breadboards.\nWork with Product/Marketing to finalize specs, review block diagrams, schematics, and enclosure concepts. Design PCBs using ECAD design tools.\nBuild and test prototypes on breadboards.\nWork with Product/Marketing to finalize specifications, review block diagrams, schematics, and enclosure concepts.\nDesign analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic circuits.\nSelect electronic components and create schematics and bills of materials (BOMs).\nDebug, validate, and optimize prototype hardware.\nCollaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams throughout product development.\nPerform circuit simulation, testing, and root cause analysis.\nSupport product certification and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards.\nDevelop engineering documentation and support production release using DFM/DFT best practices.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITY\nNone\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities (as demonstrated through experience, training and/or testing)\nECAD Tools: EDA software (Altium, Allegro, or OrCAD) to review and verify multi-layer PCB layouts.\nUse lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and VNAs.\nTechnical Literacy: Sufficient understanding of schematics and system architectures (MCU/SoC, power, wireless) to bridge conversations between R&D and vendors.\nEDUCATION\nBachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.\nEXPERIENCE\nMinimum 2 years of experience as an Electronics Design Engineer or in a similar electronics design role required.\nDesigned, delivered and completed PCBs carrying interfaces such as MIPI D-PHY/CSI-2/DSI, LVDS, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3.x, or PCI Express.\nExperience designing boards using DDR, LPDDR, SDRAM, or other high-speed external memories, including topology selection, byte-lane matching, and signal-integrity validation.\nExperience designing RF sections and PCB antennas for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, including antenna placement, keepout regions, impedance matching, and RF layout practices.\nFamiliarity with FPGA- and SoC-based systems, including high-speed transceiver interfaces, parallel video buses, clocking, configuration, and power sequencing.\nBACKGROUND PREREQUISITIES\nMust undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, pre-employment drug screening, and reference checks.\nWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS\nWith or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions.
