To discover how Camfil helps to protect people, processes and the environment, visit us at www.camfil.com.SUMMARY:This goal of this position is to build new metal Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Sales in the United States, then actively participate in leveraging US sales into global supply contracts in support of the Metal OEM Strategic Initiative. This is a growth position. First year focus will be on building new business from a target list of OEM accounts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Identify and manage strategic Metal OEM target accountsDeliver technical, sales and training presentations to customersIdentify, cultivate, and follow-up on potential OEM leadsPartner with internal resources to develop new or modify existing products for OEM applicationsEngage Metal team members to develop, structure, and close sales with OEMsWork with product management team, internal sales team, and TS&S Engineers to determine product offerings within market segments.Attend trade shows, conferences and sales meetings to grow sales, generate leads, and identify OEM and strategic account opportunities.Participate in technical consortiums, committees, and/or boards within the Air Pollution Control industry and within key markets.Conduct field tests with key accounts to sharpen engineering and product performance. Set up tests with Validation Department to conduct new filter media and air-to-cloth ratio testing using Goldlink.Develop in-house design and engineering standards for consistent application of competitive products and services.Troubleshoot customer problems with equipment.Manage Continuous Improvement Process with key accounts.Attend monthly training and utilize Sandler Sales techniques.Manage current case studies on both public and team site.Manage and create new focus market sheets.Create new case studies.Create new, market specific videos.Subscribe to and read monthly trade journals where we advertise.Write industry articles.Write white papers.Conduct webinars.QUALIFICATIONS:College or technical degree preferred.MS Office and CRM software experience a must.Willingness to travel, every other week, 2-3 days at a time.Self-motivation, including the ability to work independently and unsupervised on a sales plan that is part of an annual budget.Strong public speaking ability. Strong Excel spreadsheet knowledge for planning and budgeting.Professional networking skills.WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments. The work environment will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas.
