This role is responsible for creating and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing data queries, and collaborating with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives. The position plays a key role in ensuring data quality, operational efficiency, and supporting data acquisition initiatives.Responsibilities:• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate data requirements into engineering solutions• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, DBT, Snowflake SQL, and metadata frameworks• Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures• Architect and support data integration processes including batch ingestion and automated extracts• Partner with stakeholders to define technical solutions and data models balancing performance and scalability• Serve as a technical expert and mentor on data engineering best practices and pipeline design• Author and maintain technical documentation such as data mappings and operational runbooks• Continuously improve data quality, monitoring, and operational efficiency• Support data acquisition by onboarding new data sources and executing secure, compliant transfers• Communicate technical concepts clearly to varied audiences• Promote a collaborative and inclusive team environment• Manage multiple priorities independently and adapt to evolving requirements• Diagnose pipeline failures, data anomalies, and performance issuesRequirements:• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience• 8+ years of data engineering experience focused on enterprise data warehousing and ETL architecture• 6+ years of ETL development using Azure Data Factory and/or Snowflake with parameterized and metadata-driven designs• 6+ years experience with Snowflake database including stored procedures and native utilities• 6+ years with GitHub version control and CI/CD pipelines• 6+ years of Python experience for data processing and orchestration• 6+ years designing or using APIs and service integrations (REST) within Snowflake or ADF workflows• 5+ years scripting experience (Batch, PowerShell, or similar) on Azure platform• Experience processing structured and semi-structured data formats (fixed width, delimited, JSON, XML)Preferred Qualifications:• Expertise with Power BI including DAX, semantic model design, and performance tuning• Experience with React and .Net developmentPay Range and Compensation Package:• The salary for this role ranges from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment and factors such as location, education, experience, and certifications• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factorsEqual Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
