Our work depends on TS/SCI cleared Database Analyst joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or Arnold, MO.\nHOW A PostgreSQL DATABASE ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT\nGeneral Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate need for a PostgreSQL database analyst to analyze, design, develop, implement, and support database infrastructure deployment and management. The individual will work under limited supervision and perform additional duties as assigned to include, but not limited to:\nManages the functionality and efficiency of a group of servers running on one or more operating systems.\nMaintains database integrity and security, configures role-based access control (RBAC), and sets up administrative accounts.\nSets up administrator and service accounts.\nMaintain documentation for configurations, standards, and procedures\nInteracts with users and evaluates vendor products.\nDevelops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.\nDevelops and implements testing strategies and document results.\nProvides advice on performance tuning and training to end-users.\nMaintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.\nEvaluates open-source or vendor tools and participates in database migration/special modernization projects.\nCollaborate with developers on schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures\nPlan and execute database upgrades, patching, and migrations\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements\nParticipate in on-call rotations for after-hours support\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nRequirements:\nBachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience\n5 + years of related database analysis and/or administration experience.\nPostgreSQL experience required.
