The Systems Engineer will work closely with application, warehouse operations, facilities, engineering, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, system, and integration issues that could impact warehouse and business operations.\n\nThe individual will also participate in network and infrastructure modernization initiatives, office and warehouse deployments, document infrastructure architectures, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and recommend improvements that enhance performance, resiliency, security, and operational efficiency.\n\nThis individual will embrace innovation and continuous improvement while demonstrating strong technical expertise, accountability, collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global IT environment.\n\nIn addition, the individual will work with internal IT support teams and business partners providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support as needed.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssist with the design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise WAN, LAN, wireless, inter-VLAN routing, segmentation, and SD-WAN network infrastructure.\nMaintain secure site-to-site VPN tunnels between corporate offices, cloud providers, and third-party partners.\nInstall, configure, maintain, upgrade Cisco and Meraki switches, routers, wireless controllers, access points, and security appliances such as Zscaler.\nConfigure and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking including routing, switching, NAT, ACLs, QoS, and multicast technologies.\nMonitor network availability, utilization, latency, and performance using enterprise monitoring solutions and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.\nSupport wireless networks and RF connectivity throughout office, warehouse, manufacturing, and operational environments, ensuring reliable coverage and performance for business-critical devices.\nProvide technical support for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and the infrastructure supporting warehouse operations, working closely with application teams, warehouse operations, and vendors.\nSupport network connectivity and infrastructure integrations for conveyors, material-handling equipment, warehouse automation, sensors, cameras, IoT devices, and other connected operational equipment.\nEnsure warehouse and operational technology is appropriately segmented from corporate networks while maintaining required communication between systems.\nParticipate in network architecture reviews and recommend improvements to increase resiliency, performance, and operational efficiency.\nMaintain accurate network diagrams, IP address management documentation, topology maps, and configuration standards.\nAssist with disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives related to network infrastructure.\nCollaborate with system administrators, cloud engineers, application teams, and vendors to troubleshoot enterprise infrastructure issues.\nManage firmware upgrades, software updates, hardware lifecycle management, and configuration backups.\nPerform root cause analysis of network outages and develop preventive measures.\nParticipate in On-Call support and respond to critical network incidents when required.\nProvide Tier 2 and Tier 3 network support for escalated incidents.\nParticipate in infrastructure projects including office relocations, acquisitions, new site deployments, and global network expansion.\nWork closely with vendors and service providers to resolve telecommunications and network service issues.\nContribute to IT strategy by evaluating emerging networking technologies and recommending solutions that improve business operations.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n\nEducation\n\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.\nProfessional networking certifications preferred, including one or more of the following:\nCisco CCNA\nCisco CCNP Enterprise\nVMware (VCP or VCAP)\nMicrosoft (MCSA, MCSE, Microsoft 365)\n\nTechnical Skills\n\nMinimum 5+ years of enterprise systems engineering experience.\n5+ years designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting Cisco and/or Cisco Meraki enterprise networking environments.\nStrong experience in designing and supporting enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Site-to-site VPNs, VLANs, routing and switching, wireless networks, and network segmentation.\nExperience with office relocation.\nExperience supporting cloud networking within Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.\nExperience with Zero Trust networking such as, Zscaler, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and network access control technologies.\nExperience with virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V.\nWorking knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.\nStrong understanding of network security best practices, vulnerabilities remediation, and infrastructure hardening.\n\nCompetencies\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.\nSelf-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.\n\nEnvironmental Factors\n\nMust be able to sit for extended periods of time.\nMust be able to use a computer keyboard and view a
