description : Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.This department provides labor, delivery, and recovery (LDR) services. The OB Triage function is included here if performed by staff in this department. Postpartum, infant care, and ambulatory birthing centers are excluded. requirement : Day shift, 12 hour shifts, 36 or 48 hours/week. shifts starts around 6:00am and goes to 6:30pm. Labor required and Postpartum preferred and Level 2 nursery required. Scrubs are provided if needed, otherwise eggplant colored scrubs. Experienced labor Nurse NRP, Intermediate fetal Monitoring, ACLS &BLS.Education and Work Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): PreferredAcute care facility experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: RequiredDepartment Specific License/Certifications:Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP): RequiredACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required
