Warehouse Team Lead (Day Shift)Location: USA - Martinsburg, Winchester Avenue Division: SolutionsJob Posting Title: Warehouse Team Lead (Day Shift) Time Type: Full Time Compensation: $24/hr for day shift Weekend Premium (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) extra $1.50/hr Schedule: This is 12 hour Day Shift (7a-7p) on a 2 day on -2 day off -3 day on type scheduleJob Overview: Responsible for loading and unloading freight accurately, inventory control, rotation and inspection and other warehouse related duties to ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight to customers. Assist the Supervisor and Manager maintain the operations of the warehouse facility by acting as lead liaison/point of contact between Warehouse Manager and assigned areas of the warehouse. Provide direction to warehouse employees while performing individual warehouse responsibilities in a specific functional.Duties/Tasks:Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containersUnload inbound and outbound containers and sort according to size of freight and destinationRead, decode, and decipher freight coding in order to expedite freight movement and tracing processReconcile driver pick up and delivery manifestsLabel, weigh, and dimensionalize freightPerform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dockRecord damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reportsCommunicate work area needs to Warehouse SupervisorDetermine daily tasks, workloads and coordinates staffing accordingly in conjunction with Warehouse Supervisor.Delegate warehouse tasks in assigned area in conjunction with Warehouse SupervisorIdentify system or process issues and communicate those to Warehouse SupervisorCoordinate trucking transportation in and out of the warehouseMaintain quality standards for warehouse storage and service including communication to internal and external customersMaintain and ensure a safe working environmentDSV Global transport and logistics Working at DSV means playing in a different league.
