Description: CAREER OPPORTUNITY ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (Intake)A reputable, fast-growing law firm practicing employment law is seeking to fill a full-time Associate Attorneys for its Pre-Litigation Intake Team. We are looking for confident, energetic, and sharp attorneys who are quick on-their-feet thinkers.The area of practice is primarily labor and employment matters, exclusively on behalf of employees in California, with focus on wage and hour class/PAGA actions and single plaintiff employment lawsuits.Title : Associate Attorney - Intake (on-site preferred; may consider hybrid on-site/remote)Location : Los Angeles, CA (Pasadena) - on-site preferred; may consider hybrid/remoteHours : Full-TimeSalary : $100,000-$130,000+ (Commensurate with Experience)License Requirements : Active California State Bar license required, with no disciplinary history.Responsibilities:Conduct phone consultations with prospective clients (employees who have disputes with their current or former employers)Answer prospective clients' questionsGuide prospective clients through legal problemsDraft memoranda of consultations conductedCollaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal mattersMaintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standardsQualifications:Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law schoolActive California State Bar license, with no disciplinary history.Plaintiff or defense side labor and employment experience is a plus but not required.Great phone etiquetteHeavy note-taking and typing skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsVerbal and written communication skillsBenefits : Full premium covered for full-time employees including health, dental and vision (50% of premiumcovered for eligible dependents), 3 weeks paid vacation, generous holiday schedule – extended Christmasclosure, and 401K, among other perks.General Skills Required : Superior oral advocacy skills, experience, and confidence; great analytical and criticalthinking skills; attention to detail; honesty; dependability; ability to follow instructions and/or workindependently; very computer savvy.Computer Skills Preferred : Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Apple Operating System, Clio,other software.Language Skills : Fluent in English (spoken & written).
