Forklift Operator Day Shift

Atlantic Staffing Consultants is seeking a dependable Day Shift Entry-Level Forklift Operator with at least one year of experience to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering the potential for long-term employment with a reputable company upon successful completion of the probationary period.Key Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:Operate sit-down forklifts safely and efficientlyPick up baled materials and stack non-skidded materialsLoad and unload materials from semi-trailersPerform physical labor, including stacking pallets and cutting bands from bales or skidded materialsFollow all safety procedures and company policiesAssist with additional duties as assigned by managementMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentWork collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goalsRequirements of the Forklift Operator:Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience preferredAbility to safely operate equipment while seated for extended periodsAbility to lift, push, and pull heavy objects as requiredComfortable working in a non-climate-controlled facility and outdoors in all weather conditions (hot summers and cold winters)Strong attendance record with flexibility to work overtime or weekends as neededAbove-average communication and teamwork skillsSteel-toed boots required on the first day of workSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check (criminal and employment verification)Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify used)Pay & Schedule of the Forklift Operator:Starting Pay: $19/hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMOvertime and weekends as requiredDirect-hire eligibility after 700 hours, with a pay increase to $21/hourWhy Join Atlantic Staffing Consultants?Competitive starting payOpportunity for long-term employmentHands-on industry experienceCareer growth potentialEqual Employment Opportunity StatementAtlantic Staffing Consultants is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
